RekoPay – Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using RekoPay ("the app"), you agree to the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Description of Service

RekoPay is a utility app that reads incoming payment notifications from supported apps on your Android device and announces them via voice, functioning similarly to a physical payment soundbox. RekoPay is an independent, third-party tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any payment provider, bank, or UPI app whose notifications it reads.

2. No Financial Services

RekoPay does not process payments, transfer money, or have access to your bank account, UPI PIN, or payment credentials. It only reads the text of notifications already delivered to your device by other apps and converts relevant details into a voice announcement. RekoPay is an alerting/convenience tool only.

3. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we aim for accurate announcements, RekoPay's output depends entirely on the notification text provided by third-party apps, which may change their notification format at any time without notice. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of announced amounts or details. Always verify actual payment receipt through your official banking/payment app before dispatching goods or services. We are not liable for any loss arising from missed, delayed, or inaccurate announcements.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You must grant Notification Access voluntarily; RekoPay will not function without it.
  • You are responsible for keeping your device secure, as RekoPay's announcements are only as reliable as your device's notification system.
  • You agree not to misuse the app for any unlawful purpose.

5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions (if applicable)

Any premium features or subscriptions are billed through Google Play Billing and governed by Google Play's terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date via Google Play's subscription settings.

6. Advertising

RekoPay may display third-party advertisements (via Google AdMob) to support free use of the app.

7. Intellectual Property

All app content, design, and code are the property of the developer. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the app without permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue or modify RekoPay at any time without prior notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

RekoPay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including financial loss, arising from your use of the app.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
